**Programme Lead - Ethnic Business Sector**:
Location: Wellington
Type: Six months fixed term
Hours: 40

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Strategic Engagement and Stakeholder Insights, the Programme Lead - Ethnic Business Sector leads the development and delivery of initiatives in support of economic empowerment and employment of Ethnic Communities. The role will lead the development and execution of a strategy and work programme for the business unit focused on leveraging the unique qualities of the ethnic business community.

The Programme Lead will:

- Plan, design and deliver a strategy and accompanying work programme for the business unit's overall engagement with the Ethnic Business sector.
- Develop an engagement plan for the relevant business unit activities including indication of sponsorship opportunities with relevant agencies and commercial entities to support the delivery of a high-quality Ethnic Xchange Business Symposium.
- Contribute to ensuring the programme has sound systems and processes for engaging with key stakeholders, including vendor partners, to achieve the required outcomes.
- Work to remove barriers and ensure decision-making is informed by strategic imperatives, achieving the target operating model, and value creation.
- Provide required reporting and updates to the DCE Strategic Engagement and Stakeholder Insights and/or ELT when required.
- Experience working in complex programme and project delivery environments, in senior delivery management roles
- Extensive experience in both the private and public sectors
- Financial, commercial, contract, and resource management, along with programme planning and reporting expertise
- A proven aptitude for working in a highly collaborative, supportive, and energetic manner, getting the best out of teams and peer/stakeholder relationships
