SERVICE DELI & SEAFOOD ASSISTANT - NEW WORLD MILFORD

We have an exciting vacancy for a Service Deli & Seafood Assistant in our Service Deli and Seafood department.

You should be passionate about food and motivated to engage with customers and take initiative to help where needed. It is a varied role including food presentation, cooking and record keeping as well as plenty of customer contact. In this role you are also required to work in seafood department.

As a Service Deli & Seafood Assistant you would be expected to be:

- Keeping our deli department well stocked and presented with a range of quality products including the presentation of cold and cooked products.
- Making sandwiches and salads and cooking deli items
- Providing quality customer service whilst helping customers with deli and seafood selections
- Learning about and adhering to Food Safety policies.

In this role we are looking for our new team member to
- Have a love of food and enjoy handling fresh food, including raw meat and fish and shellfish
- Have a strong attention to detail when it comes to food safety checks
- Be happy to work on their feet for most of their shift
- Have a great eye for presentation and love interacting with customers
