Watts & Hughes are a very successful privately owned Construction Company with 35+ years in the industry, with offices in Auckland/Tauranga/Hamilton/Wellington & Christchurch.

We are currently looking for a Truck Driver / Plant Maintenance based in East Tamaki, Auckland.

**About the Role**:

- Permanet, full-time work with a minimum 30 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
- $36.00 - $40.86 per hour, depending on experience.

**Tasks include**:

- Day to day servicing & maintenance of plant & equipment. Inspect and maintain truck and associated equipment, clean and in good working order, adding fluids & oil as needed.
- Ensure proper cleanliness of interior/exterior of truck at all times.
- Load and unload structure materials and move materials about in work areas.
- Maintaining vehicles records.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
- Ensure the safe storage and proper packaging of all supplies prior to transporation -Checked that the deliveries/supplies were in accurate quantity and quality and subsequently loaded stock/merchandise onto the truck.
- Knowledge of the process of uploading and unloading of goods.
- Maintain logs of packages delivered.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Relevant experience driving trucks and servicing vehicles.
- Holds a current full clean Drivers License with class 4 or 5 or international equivalent.
