Commercial Analyst

**The Company**

My client is a manufacturing powerhouse making products necessary to everyone. The business has been in operation for many years and is still growing. Due to a secondment in the team, they are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join to team focusing on Sales and Margin analysis.

**The Role**

As the Commercial Analyst you will report directly to the Group Performance Manager and partnering closely with the Sales and Manufacturing teams. You will have a keen eye for variances and impact key business decisions. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
**Duties**
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Margin Analysis
- Reporting on pricing changes and rebates
- Reporting on and analysing key changes to the P&L
- Partnering with the sales team regarding price and cost changes
- Variance analysis
- Ad-hoc reporting

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desired
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Ability to tell a story with numbers
