Our client is a Kaupapa Māori organisation with a long-term commitment to the education and wellbeing of the people who live in our Rotorua area. Their purpose is to provide leadership and advocacy in te reo and tikanga, empower whānau engagement in education, science, and technology, and drive improvements in the social departments of housing, employment, and health.

They are looking for an Administration Coordinator to join their Rotorua team. The purpose of the role is to assist the Housing Poumanatū (Team Leader) in managing the day-to-day duties of the office. It is the obligation of the Administration Coordinator to ensure that all manuhiri to the organisation feel welcomed and have been provided with information that provides solutions.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Greeting visitors and providing good customer service.
- Keeping the office tidy and maintaining the coffee and tea station.
- Maintaining office supplies.
- Diary management and booking meetings.
- Maintaining, developing, and implementing confidential filing systems.
- Working with a kaupapa Māori approach.
- Developing positive, respectful, and reciprocal internal and external relationships.
- General administration duties as required.

If you have great organisational skills, are able to communicate with a variety of audiences, can build and maintain rapport with others, and have effective time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, we would love to hear from you. Past administration experience preferred, and an understanding of Te Reo Māori, ōna tikanga, and the Rotorua Homeless Action Plan would be beneficial.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. A current and clean Full Drivers License is also required, as there may be the need to drive company vehicles at times.
