**Role**:
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic **Night Auditor** to support Hotel Night Audit operations.

Our Night Auditor is to ensure delivery of “Just say SO” guest service by coordinating the link between hotel and guests and hotel operations. Effectively undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including the checking and preparation of reports and statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures during the night shift. Ensure smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining maximum guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.

**Duties**:

- Effective supervision of late guest arrivals and early departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused
- Knowledge in Opera PMS and balancing procedures. Run reports and draw up statistical information as required by finance policies and procedures
- Compile Night Audit day pack reports and documents in accordance with PCI Compliance, distributing to specific departments in a timely manner as required
- Complete computer system backups and save in accordance with finance policies and procedures
- Assist in the management of the hotel Front Office operation to achieve a reputation as a market leader in individualized customer focused service in the hotel locality
- Supervision of night services including room service, OTS, car parking and porter services, ensuring guest arrivals and departures are as efficient as possible
- Be aware of room availability, balancing inventory and sensitively manager overbooking situations where late night relocation is required
- Ensure the cleanliness/neatness of the hotel including back of house areas by monitoring night cleaning activities
- Fully aware of the action to be taken and ensure the safety of guests and staff in the event of an emergency
- Be knowledgeable of and operate within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and Accor Hotels Policies

We would prefer if you have:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a 5 star luxury environment
- Demonstrated experience in handling emergency situations and guest conflict
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role
- Experience with Opera PMS and Micros
- Must hold a full New Zealand drivers license with the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle

Part-time hours: 32-40 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
