Pacific Air Solutions Ltd is seeking Duct Installers/HVAC Technicians for work in Wellington, Auckland, or Christchurch. Travel expenses will be covered.

Job Descriptions:

- Install or repair HVAC systems following blueprints, design specifications, or written instructions.
- Use hand and power tools to drill holes, install brackets, and cut, bend, and thread piping.
- Assemble and install pipework, connecting equipment while ensuring alignment and accuracy.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and chassis parts using portable metalworking tools.
- Install, repair, and test components including motors, evaporators, switches, gauges, compressors, and copper lines for various systems.
- Install electrical wiring and controls, testing for proper operation.
- Assemble and install pipework for HVAC systems, ensuring an accurate fit.
- Inspect existing HVAC systems for leaks and faults, making necessary adjustments.
- Diagnose faults in HVAC systems, repairing or replacing defective parts as needed.
- Test HVAC systems to identify repairs needed, documenting troubleshooting processes and actions taken.
- Remove test gases and fluids using vacuum pumps, refilling with refrigerant.
- Maintain HVAC systems, adjusting controls and reassembling systems as necessary.

Job Requirements:

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Physical fitness is required due to heavy lifting.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Work up to 40 hours per week, with minimum guaranteed 30 hours from Monday to Friday, and occasional Saturdays. Hours are between 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Pay rates range from $29.66 to $32 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
