**The Role**

As a consultant you will have a variety of responsibilities including:

- Account Management including onsite maintenance visits, designing and implementing IT Roadmaps, service ticket management.
- Technical pre-sales consulting.
- Technical work, both remote and onsite.
- Project management and implementation.

**Skills and experience**
- Three years minimum experience in IT, with an account management component.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Explaining the technical to non-technical people comes second nature to you.
- Building rapport and fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stellar IT troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience in IT Consulting and Solution Design.
- NZ driver’s license, with a clean record required.

**Preferred Areas of IT Knowledge**
- Managed Services.
- Networking - Routers, Switches, Wireless, VPN and Internet.
- Microsoft Windows Workstation and Server.
- Microsoft Office Applications.
- Office 365 & Microsoft Exchange.
- Cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Telephony, PABX and/or SIP/VoIP.
- Physical infrastructure, patching and cabling.
- VMware and/or Hyper-V.
