We are currently recruiting on behalf of Cranetech Solutions for a Crane Service Technician.

Cranetech Solutions are a locally owned and operated engineering firm that specialise in the building, installation and servicing of gantry cranes and other lifting equipment.

They have an excellent reputation around the wider Christchurch region and currently require a crane technician to start as soon as possible.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working on site to complete scheduled maintenance on cranes
- Call outs for crane breakdowns
- Fitting and/or fabrication of new cranes in the workshop
- Upholding the company's reputation whilst working onsite with a wide range of industrial clients
- Working at height in an EWP

**Skills and attributes**:

- Ideally a qualification in an engineering related trade such as maintenance, fitting or fabrication.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
- High attention to detail with good diagnosis skills.
- A current driver's licence
- Be comfortable working at height
- Ability to work on Saturdays when required.

**Benefits and remuneration**:

- Overtime rates applied after 40 hrs
