MEGADAIRY LIMITED located in Handerson, Auckland, is looking for two full-time Maintenance Planners to join our team.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a roster.
**Purpose**:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**:Maintenance Planning**:
1. Develop and implement short-term and long-term maintenance plans for production equipment and facilities.
2. Schedule preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
**Resource Coordination**:
1. Allocate manpower, materials, and tools to ensure maintenance tasks are completed on time.
2. Liaise with maintenance teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure availability of spare parts and equipment.
**Maintenance Monitoring**:
1. Record and track maintenance activities.
2. Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and improve maintenance strategies.
**Budget Management**:
1. Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
2. Evaluate and procure spare parts and equipment as needed.
**Process Improvement**:
1. Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and improve equipment reliability.
2. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce production losses.
**Compliance and Safety**:
1. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
2. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to prevent accidents.
**Training**:
1. Train production team members on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
**About you**:
Minimum three years of relevant experience required OR
NZQF Level 5 or above qualification.
Drug test and police background checks required.
