Checkout Assistant Pt

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Customer Services team in the permanent Part Time role of Checkout Assistant.

**For this role we are looking for someone with Barista skills. The shift pattern for this role is**:
Monday - 7am to 3.30pm

Saturday - 9am to 5.30pm

We are looking for someone whose passion is people. This is a role where experience in customer service is preferred but not essential. This position has the ability to evolve into one with extra responsibility including Self-Service lanes, Lotto, Coffee, Customer Service and Supervising operations of checkout. This is a fantastic opportunity to come and work at an amazing supermarket and in an industry with job security and stability.

**Your day to day**:

- Making coffee, delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers.
- Scanning items accurately and packing groceries while still maintaining excellent customer service, think multi-tasking
- Working in a team environment and giving effective communication.
- Cleaning and collecting trolleys, making sure our checkout area looks amazing

Additional hours will be required from time to time to cover illness and leave for other team members.
