- Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00
- To provide an effective and professional case management for consumers and their families.
- Deliver care both autonomously and alongside multidisciplinary team colleagues.
- Provide support and guidance to students on placement with the team.

**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

We are a busy urban community mental health team covering the south quadrant of Christchurch. Our multidisciplinary team mixes the skills and talents of occupational therapists, Pukenga Atawhais, nurses, psychiatrists, social workers and psychologists. We focus our care on those in most need, those with serious and enduring mental illness who cannot be cared for in primary care or by NGOs. We are keen to use all the different skills our multidisciplinary team brings to provide the best care we can for our clients.

**Ko wai koe | About You**

You will have interest in adult community psychiatry and experience working in a multidisciplinary team in a community mental health team. You will have a strong professional nursing back ground and an interest in working with other disciplines in a multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of clients on your caseload and working closely with colleagues in the Community Mental Health Team.
- This role is suitable for a skilled, experienced Community Mental Health Nurse who is motivated and confident to work autonomously,
- Ability to work with colleagues in different disciplines.
- 1 FTE permanent position working Monday to Friday day shift
