**Ā mātou rōpū (About our team)**
You will be based with Ngā Manu Teka Practice Development Unit, in partnership with Uru Kiriora Communities, Localities and Commissioning. You will report to the Kaiwhakahaere Kaiwhakaako Tapuhi Nurse Educator Lead and work alongside other senior nurses and educators. We have a great team and we work hard to make a difference. We value integrity, innovation, respect and teamwork.
**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**
Central to this role are our clinical teams so needless to say you'll enjoy engaging with people, creating and maintaining relationships, and have the ability and enthusiasm to get people engaged when it comes to education. You must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate, a highly skilled communicator, exemplify lifelong learning and have experience in teaching.

The Nurse Educator will be vital in assuring quality educational experiences that prepare the nursing workforce for a diverse, ever-changing health care environment. It provides a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the care our community receives.
