- The role of the Service Delivery Manager - Mental Health and Addictions is vital to the continued strengthening of practice within our organisation. This role will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of mental health and addictions services to our whānau and community.
Providing leadership within the Mental Health and Addictions team to ensure the community based Mental Health support and intervention meets the requirements and obligations of the contractual agreements. This role will manage reporting Team Leads and Kaimahi through the provision of practice, workforce development and training, key stakeholder relationships and supervision.
The Service Delivery Manager - Mental Health and Addictions is a key member of the senior leadership team.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Leadership and management, fostering a collaborative high-performance culture encouraging team engagement and professional development
- Ensuring alignment between support services and core service delivery areas
- Managing compliance with clinical and non-clinical mental health Kaimahi provide safe, evidence based practice
- Strategic planning and implementation alongside the Senior Leadership Team tracking progress
- Maintaining reporting compliance, which may involve contributing to audit processes
- Provide training and supervision - support and guidance to the Matawhānui and Mataāiti teams demonstrating expertise and knowledge
- Ensure programmes are meeting budget requirements
- Management of data compliance in line with the programme needs
- Manage and monitor health and safety compliance, particularly to assist Kaimahi in making quality decisions to manage and mitigate and health and safety concerns
- Preparation and substation of uplift documentation and supporting information
- Facilitate the management if the intake process and oversee whanāu allocations
- Support Kaimahi with Report of Concerns and lead any high risk client crisis that have been escalated by Team Leads
- Maintain network of cross referrals
- Work with external agencies
- Tertiary qualified in Mental Health and Addictions
- DAPAANZ registered
- Previous experience working in a diverse organisation in a similar role of five years or more
- Established Māori/iwi networks in the Eastern Bay of Plenty
- Strong understanding of TKKH and the Eastern Bay of Plenty communities
- Astute professional
- Current valid full drivers licence and first aid certificate
- Proven leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills
- Experience de-escalating conflict situations
- Strong relationship and network management
- Organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
