Mental Health Clinician, Te Toki Haumanu Closer to Home services, Rotorua
- An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse or Qualified Mental Health Clinician, as part of our new Rotorua based Closer to Home service, Te Toki Haumanu. The roles present a real opportunity to make a positive difference.

- The Mental Health Clinician will deliver intensive intervention, closer to home, to minimise the need for admission to the Whare Whakaue ward or Specialist Services. To do the role, you will demonstrate the ability to provide independent, high quality, effective psychiatric care so tangata whaiora (service users) can improve their wellbeing, take ownership over their recovery and be connected to the most appropriate service for on-going support.
- Part time (up to 32 hours per week)
- Working business hours, Monday - Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
- You would be
- A Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
- Have proven experience in working in a specialist mental health setting
- Post-graduate training in mental health and addictions will be an asset
- Awhe utu / Salary range
$83,999 - $103,630 pro-rated to hours worked.
