The focus is on digital products as well as mobile apps, and software for national and international clients. As the UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating an elevated design experience and best user experience for the clients and their customers, which makes your role extremely important for their success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
**The Role**:
As the Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating elevated design experiences and the best possible user experience for the clients and their customers. You will need a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of the products and apps, ensuring they align with the business goals and exceed user expectations.
**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Being comfortable working across multiple projects, including managing timelines and taking responsibility for design approach, budget and deadlines.
- Ability to lead and manage the end-to-end product design process for the products and apps, from concept ideation to final execution.
- Communicating with clients to understand their business goals and objectives, gathering, analysing and developing detailed technical and business requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Delivery Managers, Developers, Strategists, and other Designers to create intuitive, innovative digital solutions.
- Ideating, planning, and implementing designs that reflect the brief.
- Being comfortable preparing and presenting both user experience and visual concepts to internal teams and key stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Championing and implementing best practice recommendations to clients.
- Advocating for the user throughout the design process, ensuring a user-centred approach which delivers intuitive and delightful experiences.
- Developing design systems, style guides and other design assets to maintain consistency across products and experiences.
- Producing personas, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and working prototypes.
- Optimising existing user interface designs.
- Ability to create, test and analyse prototypes for new product ideas.
- Conducting ongoing user research.
- Utilising customer feedback and analytics to drive iterative design improvements.
- Ability to distil large research projects to derive actionable design recommendations and insights. Creating customer journey maps, personas and other UX artifacts to inform design decisions.
**You’ll need to**:
- Have a comprehensive, commercial portfolio that shows a high level of design thinking and a strong visual design background.
- Be equally comfortable working on and leading UX and UI projects.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Be open to receiving and implementing feedback and alteration requests.
- Be confident presenting and selling-in ideas and solutions and running workshops.
- Be detail-oriented, a critical thinker and a customer-centred problem-solver. Ideally have some experience working in Figma.
