The Lived Experience and Clinical Advisory team incorporate lived experience perspectives, knowledge and wisdom into our work, and contributes to the long-term pathway to mental wellbeing outlines in Kia Manawanui Aotearoa.
Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
As Principal Advisor you will work in partnership with tāngata whaiora lived experience and their family and whānau networks across the mental wellbeing system, as well as Directorate senior leaders and programme/project leads. By networking with individuals and organisations at regional and national levels you will help the Ministry address inequity and improve outcomes, and lead the development of relevant health reports. You will also progress the response to the Government Inquiry into Mental health and Addiction through supporting our implementation of Kia Manawanui Aotearoa and Oranga Hinengaro Services and Systems Framework, and prepare advice regarding opportunities and priorities.
