**Dry Goods 2IC/ Assistant Buyer - Grocery, Chilled, Frozen & Liquor**:

New World Mt Albert reopened in October 2024 with a full rebuild and a renewed focus on delivering a top-tier shopping experience. We’re now looking for a capable and motivated **Dry Goods 2IC** to support the day-to-day operations across our **Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Liquor** departments.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and help shape the way we deliver to our community.

**Rostered Hours**:

- Tuesday 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Wednesday 10:00am - 6:30pm
- Thursday 10:00am - 6:30pm
- Friday 5:00am - 2:30pm
- Saturday 5:00am - 3:00pm

(_Note: Hours may vary based on operational needs_)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Dry Goods Manager across Grocery, Chilled, Frozen, and Liquor operations
- Assist with ordering, stock control, promotional execution, and range management
- Maintain strong stock availability, tidy shelves, and engaging displays
- Help lead, train, and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure price accuracy, Foodstuffs compliance, and store presentation standards are met

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in grocery or dry goods retail (chilled/frozen/liquor experience a bonus) **or;**:

- A driven team member looking to step up into a leadership role
- Strong organisation, communication, and merchandising skill
- Confident using SAP for ordering and stock management
- A team player with a can-do attitude and leadership potential
- LCQ certification or forklift licence is a bonus (not essential)
