**Caseloading Midwife - Botany Birthing Unit**

**Full Time Permanent Role**

We are looking for an experienced Registered Midwife to join our Caseloading Midwifery team based at Botany Downs Birthing Unit. The Caseloading Midwife works autonomously and is fully accountable for all clinical decisions relating to providing primary maternity care.

When a pregnancy becomes high risk and secondary services are required, they will continue to provide midwifery care in conjunction with the Obstetrician and secondary care team. The Caseloading Midwife is empowered to make clinical decisions relating to primary Lead Maternity Care. They will be required to use initiative and problem solving skills to develop innovative approaches to issues.

We offer a supportive team environment, access to all necessary equipment, a vehicle, and secondary care support in our base hospital if required.

**Essential**
- NZ Registered Midwife with Current Practicing Certificate
- 2+ years clinical midwifery experience in NZ
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
