Together, we form a talented, effective, and multi-disciplinary team who pride ourselves on our ability to utilize our different skills, knowledges, and experiences (both personal and professional) to support our tangataa whaiora. By empowering tangataa whaiora to build daily routines and by offering them on-going tools and encouragement, we support them to develop, grow, and flourish as individuals and within their communities. **Role | Nga mahi** We believe that Community Support Workers/Kaimahi are the key ingredient for successful client outcomes. Within our model of work, our kaimahi utilize their experience, skills, and knowledge of mental health rehabilitation to empower whai ora to overcome any obstacles or barriers they may face. As a Community Support Worker, you will build relationships with all whaiora registered with the service and work collaboratively to find personalised solutions that enable whaiora to live and participate in their community. You will build on the strengths of whaiora to develop natural support networks for participation and to support them to integrate independently into the community. Critical to this role is the ability to communicate effectively and take a person-centred approach as you work alongside clinical teams and other community agencies to ensure we provide a wrap-around service for those we support. To support you in your work, we will provide ample and ongoing tools and encouragement.
