Bricklayers’ Assistants

We are currently seeking three skilled Bricklayers’ Assistants to join our team in Hamilton. This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

**About the Role**:
As a Bricklayer’s Assistant, you will provide essential support to our bricklaying team across a range of construction tasks. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the setup and dismantling of scaffolding
- Mixing mortar and preparing materials for bricklayers
- Transporting bricks and other construction materials
- Cleaning and maintaining tools and work equipment
- Following safety procedures and keeping the worksite clean and organised
- Providing general assistance to bricklayers as required

**What We’re Looking For**:
**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in bricklaying support
- Knowledge of New Zealand’s construction industry (preferred)
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to urgent job requests
- A commitment to workplace health and safety
