As the Executive Director - Media and communications you will lead and manage our team to deliver high performance. In this demanding role you will need to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a champion for change and foster a culture of adaptability. You can expect a strong focus on driving continuous improvement which enhances Police's employment brand and reputation.
You will have a proven track record of leadership in Media and Communications at a senior/executive level in a large and complex organisation. You will be an exceptional people leader with first class influencing skills. You will bring a passion for leading change that makes a difference for your customers and organisation.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership**:Provide overall leadership and ensure effective performance of Police's Media and communications functions.
- **Service Delivery**:Create an environment that enables and reinforces high performance at all levels of the wider team.
- **Stakeholder and relationship management**:Lead and enable collaboration between the media and communications team and the wider organization.
- **Risk management**: Ensure that the integrity and reputation of Police is protected and enhanced.
