Broadcast Engineer Manager

We are looking for an experienced Broadcast Engineer Manager to join our team and play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and supporting all aspects of our growing network and broadcast infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that contributes to scoping, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of highly available network architectures and broadcast services that meet business objectives and SLAs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and provide day-to-day support for key owned broadcast support systems, including coordinating upgrades, service change planning, and testing procedures with external vendors.
- Liaise with service providers and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth operation of third-party technical systems.
- Act as a technical lead on assigned projects, overseeing implementation from concept through to delivery and commissioning.
- Develop and maintain best practices and procedures relating to systems operation and support.
- Proactively identify and mitigate business risks within the network environment.
- Make informed decisions regarding functionality, scope, priority, criticality, and operational requirements.
- Provide ongoing technical support, problem management, change management, and platform performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the implementation and lifecycle management of agile and modern broadcast technologies.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, peers, and management teams to drive alignment and successful delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and expected behaviours.

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Previous experience in Broadcasting and IT.
- Proficiency with VizRT, Avid, Grass Valley, Ross, and Asset Management Systems.
- Strong experience across leading business and technology platforms, including SaaS and PaaS.
- Solid knowledge of software development principles, methodologies, and programming concepts.
- Understanding of AWS-based broadcast technologies and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
- Experience in Data Centre Automation and Cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS).
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with business stakeholders and senior management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet planned commitments.
- A strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach.
