We need a passionate, organised person to take on our Pastoral Care Coordinator role supporting Filipino workers arriving in the Invercargill/Southland area.

**About Your New Role**:
You'll be a key team member, engaging and supporting our Filipino migrant workers. Your primary responsibility is assisting and supporting our new and existing workers from overseas, ensuring suitable pastoral care including health, well-being and social participation whilst in New Zealand.

You will be a key driver and influencer of Canstaff values and help foster a positive and healthy work environment. You'll be responsible for coordinating with consultants and managers across the Canstaff network to ensure that the needs and requirements of the workers and the company are consistently met.

**Duties Include**:

- Helping maintain and enhance the health, well-being, and safety of our overseas employees at home and in the workplace
- Promoting a positive organisational culture that reflects the Canstaff values.
- Supporting the social and cultural traditions of our overseas workers
- Airport pick-ups of arrivals
- Administrative tasks as required

**About You**:
You're a self-motivated and proactive person with excellent time management skills. Ideally, you have some knowledge of the construction and/or recruitment industry and/or pastoral support and enjoy a varied role.

To be successful in this role you must communicate fluently and clearly in English and Filipino (Tagalog) and have the ability to considerately assess and address individual needs. You'll work efficiently with mínimal supervision, utilising your exceptional time management skills. Above all, you're trustworthy, dependable, and reliable.

**Essential Skills**:

- **_Fluent speaker of English and Tagalog_**:

- Full driver’s license, and a confident driver
- Previous experience or understanding of working with individuals from different cultures
- Experience supporting the health, safety, and well-being of employees
- Strong proven experience in conflict resolution
- Competent in Word, Outlook and Excel etc.
