**About the opportunity**:
**Role description**:
You will be working on roading, water and wastewater requirements for projects and are ideally a generalist (covering water, wastewater and roading) or happy to move into a more generalist role.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Develop and manage project plans and budgets for land development projects.
- Perform site evaluations, feasibility studies, and due diligence investigations.
- Develop site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and utility plans.
- Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other design professionals to develop comprehensive site plans and design solutions.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and project schedules.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, contractors, and project team members.

**This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Full or partly qualified
- CPeng certification (certified engineer) in civil or water would be ideal
- Valid New Zealand driver's license
- 2+ years of experience in land development engineering
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Construction project management experience would be ideal but not essential

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
