**Days required**:Monday - Sunday (Any five days as required)

**Hours per week**:Minimum 32 hours per week

**Hourly rate**: $24 - $26.00 per hour

1 year experience on construction sites needed

**JOB PRE-REQUISITES**
- Understanding and knowledge of working on construction sites
- Knowledge of operating vacuum, broom, and other tools for cleaning
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, and heights working with PPE
- Must be Physically fit and able to lift tiles, tools boxes etc. up to 25 to 30 kilos
- Comfortable working standing, sitting, kneeling, climbing ladders etc.
- Basic understanding of keeping self safe and others safe at the site and adhering to H & S rules
- A minimum of three months of relevant work experience PREFERRED
- Have knowledge of working with basic power tools i.e. angle grinder, saw, caulking gun, grinding tools etc.
- Able to understand and follow instructions at once
- Drug-free, clean police record and good references from previous employers
- Requires weekend and public holiday work if the team is working
- Excellent time management and ability to follow instruction to the point
- Problem-solving skills
- If you have any experience as a carpenter, tile mason, bricklayer or flooring installer, you will be given preference as we consider such experience relevant to this position.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- General labor duties and assisting tradesman on site
- May assist with controlling foot traffic on site in the area of work
- Work will include outdoor and indoor work, working at heights and working in confined spaces
- Sweeping and cleaning up debris thoroughly before and after leaving the site, making sure the site is better than before
- Putting signage on site and removing them
- Assisting tradesman team with daily duties
- Checking crawl spaces for debris where necessary
- Loading and unloading tiles, materials and tools on site
- Preparing sites for tilers to work, putting all material and tools together
- Covering surfaces to keep dust off and to avoid damage
- Cleaning up excess grout and silicone off surfaces
- Assisting tiler in floor grinding, tiling, grouting, silicone and cleaning up afterwards
- Cleaning off tools after work and packing van
- Assisting tradesman in removing and putting on skirtings, doors, trims etc.

At least two good work references will be required.
