**About the role**:
If you’re looking for the right opportunity to create positive, healthy change, then we’re looking for you. We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Social Worker to join our dedicated team at Bay of Islands Hospital.
This is a permanent 1.0 FTE position working 40 hours per week.
The function of this role is to provide an effective and responsive social work service to clients in the mid north while operating as a member of both inpatient and community multidisciplinary teams.
**Key requirements**:
- Minimum “B” level social work qualification
- Current drivers licence
- ANZASW Competence or commitment to obtain
- Proven experience in working with individuals/whanau with diverse needs
- Previous social work experience that can be translated into a health environment
