Our team is highly regarded in the industry and over many years have developed proven systems to deliver quality results for clients.
It is a physically active, mostly outdoor role. You’ll be working with a small crew or alone and safety won’t be compromised. The site-based aspects are balanced with office based organisational work including checking data, scheduling maintenance, assessing data trends, and reporting on the performance of your sites to engineers, scientists, and managers within our Water team.
The role offers a huge range of skill and knowledge development which open opportunities for career development. These include water network operation, hydrology, instrumentation, electronics, hydraulic data analysis, web-based data management, safety management, work scheduling and much more.
- About you:
Basic ability in word, excel and software is beneficial.
The person who ideally will be suited to the role will have the following attributes:
- Interest in water and the environment
- Practical (can skilfully use all standard tools and materials)
- Physically fit and able to pass a full medical test
- Willing to work around wastewater and in manholes (confined spaces)
- Willing to work night shifts from time to time
- Able to travel out of town overnight/multiple nights
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
This is an exciting time to join our growing business. Come and be part of our close-knit team, in this essential, dynamic and evolving industry.
There’s no time like the present to make a change.
