This operational focused role includes facilitating the day to day running and management of the centre. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. **Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to**: - Working with the Medical Centre Leadership team to lead and support all practice staff - Continuous Quality Improvement and Risk Management. Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the centre is legally compliant. - Financial Management - Human Resources: conduct interviews, oversee recruitment, complete appropriate weekly reports, ensure personnel files are up to date. - Maintain key internal and external relationships, to ensure a harmonious and professional working environment. **You will bring to the role**: - Prior experience in Practice Management in a GP practice desirable. - Previous primary care management or administration experience. - Understanding of Cornerstone Accreditation and Quality improvement experience - Understanding of primary care funding mechanisms. - Financial management and/or accounting skills. - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Resilience and ability to problem solve - Be honest, reliable and self motivated. - Be able to work independently and in a team to meet goals and deadlines. - Ability to delegate and direct others in a positive and sensitive way.
