Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
This role is permanent, based in Wellington CBD. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Corporate Services, your focus is financial planning, strategy and reporting for two government organisations, ERO and the Independent Children's Monitor (ICM). You'll have input to the organisation's strategic aims by providing financial acumen, technical advice, and value decision support on a full range of financial matters. Your role builds strong relationships internally with all managers across ERO, the Executive Leadership team and external agencies such as The Treasury, Inland Revenue, Auditors and Bankers. Your team provides management of finances and business analysis. This includes ensuring that finance policies and internal controls reflect best practice. We see you bringing strong leadership and a solution focused mindset to the role and team. The key focus for the next 6-12 months is supporting the delivery of initiatives for the priorities of the new government.
