**About the Role**
CardioScan Aotearoa provides a comprehensive range of cardiorespiratory diagnostic tests to ensure early and accurate diagnosis of heart, lung, and sleep-related conditions. We collaborate closely with health professionals across New Zealand and operate from our New Plymouth, NZ office.
We are currently seeking an experienced **Clinical Lead Practitioner** to become a vital part of our close-knit clinical team. In this role, you will utilize our innovative cloud software, Beatbox, to allocate, upload and process ECGs, BP readings, and Holter Monitor studies as well as provide clinical lead for exercise tolerance tests and operational management. Your keen attention to detail will be essential as you manage incoming data, ensuring that all outputs are of the highest quality and accuracy. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing timelines to meet our customers' SLAs and expectations. This is a 24 hour per week position with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, We are accepting applicants based in either **New Plymouth or Rotorua**.
**Key responsibilities**
- Primary duty would be to undertake initial consultation, fitting and review of;
- Ambulatory Holters studies,
- Ambulatory Blood Pressure studies.
- Ambulatory Sleep studies.
- CPAP Trials
- Provide Clinical Lead for Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT) providing monitoring of patient during procedure, report preliminary findings of ETT with attention to detail. Interact with Cardiologist reporting the ETT
- Independently undertake operational responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the development of professional knowledge and skills as demonstrated by positive impacts on service delivery and quantifiable/measurable improvements in service outcomes
- Perform across a number of recognised specialties within the service and ensure targets are met
- Provide support for the efficient, cost effective and timely delivery of service
- Some secondary duties may include processing ECG and BP reports, if required
- Manage turnaround times of all reports to meet customer SLAs
- Assist with enhancing the quality assurance (QA) processes.
**About you**
- You will hold a valid Nursing Council or Paramedic Registration
- You will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working as a part of a high performing team

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively connect and relate with people at all levels and backgrounds to support our global team

- High level of accuracy and eye for detail
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills
- Demonstratable experience and understanding within the Cardiac industry, related technologies and reporting
- Thorough understanding of cardiac terminology
- Have an Associate Diploma or equivalent University degree in Science or equivalent
- Experience in Cardiac Analysis within a similar work environment as a Nurse or Paramedic
- Hold valid Intermediate Life Support/Advanced Life support. This can be provided by CardioScan Aotearoa
- Registered with the appropriate professional body
- Cardiac nursing experience beneficial.
