Our ward is dedicated to the Medicine and Health of Older People at North Shore Hospital. The ward has 34 beds and is an acute assessment, treatment and rehabilitation ward for older adults with a range of clinical conditions and chronic co-morbidities.To ensure we maintain our quality of care and support we require a Health Care Assistant who has the following qualities:
- Good command of oral and written English
- Knowledge and basic computer skills
- Able to work under direction and seeks guidance and supervision
- Good communication skills and customer service practices
- Committed to excellence in service delivery
Our fantastic team of motivated individuals deliver a high standard of nursing care, in a caring environment. We as a team believe passionately in nurses supporting each other and in supporting the patients and families in our care.
This position is suitable for applicants interested in working part time shifts. Applicants must be prepared to work rostered shifts including night shifts and weekends. Our fantastic team of motivated individuals deliver a high standard of nursing care.
