Joining our largest Business Unit, Customer, as a Customer Analyst / Kaitātari Kiritaki will see you contribute across a broad range of topics and make a real impact to our retail and business customers, pricing decisions, marketing campaigns and more.
We have two vacancies in the team, one permanent and one 12-month parental leave cover**, this vacancy is for the permanent opportunity.**

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Work on your core role, contribute to initiatives in a squad environment as well as continuous improvement and enhancements of our analysis function
- Create and maintain key performance reports in Power BI to communicate business metrics
- Deliver high quality reporting and statistical analysis to inform key decisions, and validate hypotheses
- Anticipate data needs and contribute to roadmaps supporting the development and evolution of our data assets
- Ensure data privacy is front in centre when working with and sharing data and follow Z guidelines
- Contribute to the teams’ ways of working, learning and Z Analytics Community of Practise
**Qualifications**
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL for analytics, ideally 3+ years’ experience
- Confident user of Power BI using DAX and Power Query (PQ)
- Great data visualisations skills and demonstrated experience presenting data in easily consumable ways
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in an environment utilising data focused on customer and business behaviour and activity
- Not essential but exposure to mentoring or participating in Communities of Practice would be beneficial

The base salary range for this role is $95,455 to $112,300 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
