MidCentral District is located in Palmerston North City could be the perfect place for you

MidCentral Districts provides a regional tertiary Cancer Treatment Service providing Haematology, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology to the populations of Taranaki, Whanganui, Hawkes Bay and MidCentral DHBs.

Outpatient clinics form a large part of this role. As one of three registrars you will participate in local clinics and share attendance at regional clinics. There is also the opportunity for pathology work in the laboratory adjacent to the clinic area. In addition there is an inpatient ward where care is provided in conjunction with Haematologists and a House Officer.

The week day on call roster is 1600 - 2300. Weekends are 0800 - 2300.

Call frequency is 1 in 10

There is lots to do locally or with its central location it is easy to get away for the weekend to all the major attractions of Lower North Island - 2 hours drive away from the vibrant capital of Wellington, the wineries of Hawkes Bay and the ski fields of Ruapehu**.**
