An industry leading engineering firm based in the Penrose area of Auckland, utilising the latest technology, machinery and processes.

Their CNC Machine Shop is expanding rapidly, so they are looking for a **CNC Laser Operator **to join their team, who has a can-do positive attitude with an excellent work ethic.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator
- Able to perform with prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, & carrying materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Following instructions and read, interpret product plans
- Basic computer and maths skills.
- Sound OH&S knowledge
- Currently be living in NZ & have the right to work in NZ (including work visas)

**Daily Duties**:

- Select and install appropriate tooling & adjust machine settings.
- Monitor / conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Quality checks during the cutting process, ensuring products finished to highest standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule / prioritize cutting tasks, meeting project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Job Details**:
**Salary**: Good $ rate neg with skills plus overtime

**Hours**: 40 hours per week

**Location**: Penrose Area

**Type**: Fulltime Permanent job
