**About the role**:As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in our clients manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of steel and roofing materials.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial in ensuring the quality of our clients products.
- Observe machine during operation to monitor quality of finished product and/or material issues, adjusting machine as necessary
- Test and adjust machine speeds or actions according to product specifications
- Load and unload trucks with gantry crane
- Ensure safety, quality and production requirements are met
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities

**Benefits**:

- Day shift 6.00am to 2.30pm

**Skills required**:

- A mechanical aptitude - good at working with machines
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Strong attention to detail, and mathematical skills
- A positive attitude and proven strong work ethic
- Valid Forklift license preferred but not essential
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test
