Construction Workers will be cleaning and preparing construction sites for carpet, laminate, vinyl, and tiles installation. Unloads and loads materials, tools, and equipment, and assists skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary.

**No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.**

The duties include:

- Assisting in setting up the job site and preparing the surface and layouts with the instruction of the skilled tradesmen
- Assisting with cutting and shaping floor covering materials to the specification
- Cleaning the construction sites for floor covering
- Assisting in setting up the underlay materials
- Assisting in laying, fitting, installing, and repairing floors using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools
- Helping skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary
- Assisting with identifying hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair
- Loading or unloading building supplies, materials, and tools
- Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner
- Follow safety rules and regulations to complete jobs in a safe manner
- Clean job site once the work is done and clean tools
