Breaking down a full carcass to individual portions is an art form, requiring skill and a strong attention to detail. Working a minimum of 30 hours per week you will generally complete 8-10+ hours a day, 5-6 days a week, hiring for day and night shift Experienced lamb boners earn between $30 and $38 per hour or on average $75,000 per year **Qualifications**: As a skilled Meat Process Worker, you will have had two years’ experience in boning red meat or have successfully completed New Zealand Apprenticeship in Export Meat Boning (Level 4) or a recognised equivalent As a member of our team, you will be responsible for a lot of duties including: - Bone or slice high value, quality lamb, sheep and mutton into primal cuts for further processing or packaging for both local and export commercial or wholesale use. - Taking pride in their work with strong attention to detail and the ability to listen and follow directions - Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, mesh safety equipment) as provided by the Employer.
