At Ingham’s we are continually striving for business excellence and innovative growth initiatives whilst maintaining the traditional Ingham’s values.

**Job Details**:
The Production Assitant role will see you operating within the Production team to ensure the Further Processing facility is cleaned daily and exceeds our quality standards in order for production to begin each day. Such cleaning includes the use of cleaning chemicals and hosing down of areas.

This hands-on role offers a Monday to Friday night shift. The hours are 11:00pm to 6:00am. We are looking for people who are flexible as rotational weekend work will also be required at times in order to support the team.

**What the job entails**:

- Daily cleaning of the processing plant to a high standard
- Operating high pressure water hoses during the cleaning process
- Adhering to health and safety requirements and procedures when handling commercial cleaning products and chemicals as well as Lock Out Tag Out procedures
- Processing and inspecting raw materials safely and systematically, according to quality specification - When needed
- Tending allocated assembly and disassembly of line machinery - When needed
- Performing processing tasks efficiently and working to meet individual and group targets
- Being an active, respectful team member that is reliable and honours work commitments
- Get involved with safety, follow the safety rules, speak up and be mindful of risks

**Skills required**
- Capability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
- Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures and information
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A record showing work commitment, reliability and motivation
- Working with fresh food requires high levels or personal hygiene and working your whole shift in a cold environment
- Completing manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
- Good level of fitness are required as you will manually handle up to 5kg
- 15kg
