We are looking for a **Bar Manager** for our Irish Pub called **Lucky Finns** in Hamilton CBD, you will be responsible for the management and direction of all bar operations. We are looking for a highly professional, well rounded Bar Manager who will be hands on and willing to lead by example You will be confident and comfortable in all areas of your profession and be able to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. You need to think on your feet, work autonomously and be a good problem solver. We need a creative, dynamic manager who has a passion for delivering the best experience for every customer.

Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012

**Job Duties**:

- Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor and gaming licenses.
- Ensure all staff are aware of their obligations pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the company’s liquor license is not jeopardized—this includes patron conduct and intoxication.
- Make sure no patron is served out of licensing hours.
- Assume responsibility for the liquor inventory control and purchasing, ensuring no “stock outs” occur, integrity is maintained in the stock control system, weekly assessments are completed, variances are reported, and remedial action is taken.
- Ensure a cost-effective bar roster is displayed weekly in advance
- Ensure the bar area and behind the bar are kept clean and tidy at all times and in accordance to specified standards.
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy and in good working condition.
- Update daily records.
- Prepare and introduce an on-going calendar of cost-effective promotional initiatives in consultation with the Manager.
- Ensure all funds and proceeds belonging to the business are accounted for, secured, and locked in the safe before leaving the premises.
- Ensure the security alarm is activated and functioning before leaving the premises.
- Maintain and complete the premises incident record book.
- Participate as a constructive member of the management team with the view to maximizing business sales volumes and profitability.
- Complete other general duties as the Manager may require from time to time.
- Ordering, Invoicing, Inventory, Roasters, banking.
- Arranging Quiz and other entrainment nights when required.
- Liquor Controlling License (LCQ) and Managers Certification.

His role is a permanent full-time position with a minimum of 32 hours per week spread across 6 days and you must be available to work on weekends.

Pay rate will be in the range of $29.66 - $31.00 per hour depending on skill level and experience.

**Salary**: Up to $30.00 per hour
