Required 3 experienced cooks for a well established restaurant in Greytown. The skills the person needs to have are in continental and Multi-cuisine dishes. All positions are full time and permanent.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**
- Responsible to cook varieties of continental and Multi-cuisine dishes.
- Required to check freshness of food & ingredients
- Assist in developing recipes & present the food
- Assist with the serving sizes and quality of meals
- You will be required to inspect supplies, equipments and work areas for Cleanliness and functionality
- Set up work place in accordance to the business level and keep stocked for service
- Prepare the gravies and sauces as per the business requirements
- Prepare the food as per the request of customers with dietary requirements
- Ensure the food is presented, portioned and garnished correctly
- Ensure the ingredients quality is upto the standard of the restaurant
- To preserve the food and freeze them as required
- Ensure implementation of effective cost controls without compromising standards of service
- Assist with training of Kitchen Hand and other support staff
- Pointing the problems in the kitchen and resolving them quickly and efficiently
- Maintain a good working relationship with the staff
- Ensure that all equipments are kept clean
- Follow the maintenance and health and safety issues
- Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards in the work place
- Able to work flexible hours at cover up large orders and catering

**The successful applicant for the position must have.**
- Hold 1 year work experience in an continental restaurant and able to make continental and Multi-cuisine dishes.
- Holding relevant cookery qualification at level 2 or 3 is an advantage but not essential
- Willing to work split shifts (Lunch & dinner) as required
- Busiest days for our business are weekends and essential to be able to work on weekends
- Be experienced in performing the tasks independently
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Honest, reliable & dedicated
