Relief Sheep Milker

We are currently seeking a Farm Assistant who has a desire to progress in the primary industry. This is a large Family farm located in Kirwee with an immediate start

The farm is milking 600 Sheep a modern herring bone shed twice a day.

Duties include milking, bringing in sheep for milking, assisting with animal health, mating and calving. Setting up and taking down temporary electric fences, assisting with irrigation, weed control and general farm and machinery maintenance.

Experience is preferred although not essential. A background in farming would be desirable.

Milking and Stock Handling
- Contributing as a key part of the rostered
- The cleanliness standard of operation and efficiency of the milking shed, yard, plant, utensils and appliances used for milking the flock will be maintained so as to ensure the highest value for all milk supplied.

Successful applicant must have a desire to complete tasks to a very high standard and must be able to pass a police and drug check. A background in farming would be desirable.
