This is an autonomous role requiring a high degree of self and time management, you will be responsible for ensuring all public areas of shared housing are kept clean, rooms are reset to a high standard ready for incoming tenants and managing inspections for departing team members. This role will report into the Housekeeping Manager, however, also works closely with the HR Manager.

**What you will be doing**
- Removing the recycling, rubbish, and other items as required from shared and outside areas
- Resetting staff accommodation rooms, ensuring rooms are fit for use
- Ensuring shared areas in boarding houses including lounges, kitchens bathrooms, corridors, stairways, and laundries are kept clean and tidy
- Ordering appliances/furnishings for staff accommodation as necessary and with approval from the HR Manager
- Complete regular inspections of all tenancies, reporting back to the HR Manager and Housekeeping Manager
- Liaising with departing tenants to complete room inspections prior to departure
- Assist with maintaining the community gym, ensuring equipment is maintained and the area is kept clean
- Showing new team members to their staff accommodation when required, liaising with existing tenants notifying them of new
- There will be an expectation in this position to support the wider housekeeping team with hotel rooms and public areas around the hotel as necessary

- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
