Reservations Manager

**Manage Reservations**: Oversee all aspects of the reservation process, including handling inquiries, managing bookings, confirming reservations, and resolving issues or discrepancies.
- **Supervise Staff**: Train, recruit, and manage the reservations/ Reception team to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.
- **Revenue Management**: Develop and implement strategies to maximize room bookings and revenue, including setting pricing strategies and managing inventory.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments such as front office, sales, and marketing to coordinate room allocations and special requests, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- **Monitor Trends**: Analyze reservation trends and booking patterns to forecast occupancy levels and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- **Reporting**: Prepare reports on reservation statistics and performance to inform management decisions and strategies.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- **Education**: A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is often (preferred)
- **Experience**: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in management & operations within the hospitality industry is essential. (required)
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
**Experience**:
- hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Licence Controller Qualification (preferred)
- Manager Certificate (preferred)
