We are currently seeking experienced and suitably qualified “Sucker” Truck Driver to join our Infrastructure - Wastewater Division based in Kaikohe.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will involve the operation and responsibility for the tasks associated with operating a vacuum ‘Sucker’ truck to facilitate the removal of wastewater and water from the water and wastewater reticulation network, as well as provide support for maintenance and construction works for the Far North District Council contract for Ventia NZ. This role includes not only preventative and reactive maintenance but emergency works too.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that all faults and enquiries are dealt with promptly, efficiently and safely
- Ensure that water and wastewater services are operating efficiently and economically and meet the needs of their users
- Provide excellent customer services to all internal and external customers.

**WHAT IS REQUIRED**
- Valid NZ Class 4 Drivers Licence
- Relevant reticulation maintenance OR similar work
- Be able to work unsupervised but also operate as a team member
- Have a positive attitude, and a demonstrated commitment to health and safety
- Demonstrated ability, willingness and commitment to be multi-skilled and up-skilled
