In your capacity as a MAT Leader, you will lead the MAT program within your designated area [i.e. State / Territory or Country]. The MAT Program is a global based program which encompasses part of the marketing plan for the regional area. The Monster Ambassador Team Lead (MAT Leader) manages a team of MAT Casuals so as to build brand presence through dedicated events, sampling and support. In addition, the MAT Leader works closely with both MEC and Bottler teams to design, adapt, implement marketing elements.
**Essential Job Functions**:
As the MAT Manager, your specific role includes:
- Executive / Administration Activities [Approx. 15%]
- Build & Manage Monthly targets and key focus opportunities for MAT Program development [i.e. Universities, Brand scene partners etc.].
- Build strong relationships with both Internal [TDM / Sales team] and External [Bottler] teams to drive opportunity and expansion of MAT Program integration across the region.
- Budget management of the MAT program, through focused reporting and tracking.
- Region Planning, inclusive of local opportunities and MEC aligned assets / plans.
- Event / Promotional / Blitz planning.
- Leverage of MEC Aligned sponsorships.
- MAT Leader Role Activities [Approx. 70%]
- MAT Leader will spend a minimum of 6 days per month in the MAT truck with team.
- Generate trial for both Monster Energy & MEC Strategic Brands, via consumer sampling of designated SKUs.
- Communicate the Monster & MEC Strategic Brands core messaging / pillars to consumers.
- Monster Energy: Motorsport, Action Sports, Music, Gaming and Monster Girls.
- Assist with lead generation for the sales division.
- Develop and strengthen both bottler [CCA] & key account relationships.
- Build centers of influence network [i.e., Scene Partners].
- Support sales efforts through event sampling.
- Assist with Monster Energy & Strategic Brand key event activations when required.
- Trade Support / Influence [Approx. 15%]
- Support local area TDM’s and CCA Sales team with minimum.5 - 1 day per week [i.e., In Venue / Store]. This will assist in building program alignment and bottler relationships.
- Attendance at CCA Red Planning / Regional Meetings.
**Additional duties for role include**:
- To preserve, protect and enhance the goodwill of the business carried on by the Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd.
- To recruit, hire, train and manage Monster & Strategic Brand Ambassadors.
- To manage MAT operations and MAT equipment in local markets.
- To build vendor and venue relationships.
- To increase market knowledge.
- To maintain inventory control.
- To provide market successes feedback.
- To general sales opportunity leads.
- To submit timely and accurate expense reports.
**Position Requirements**:
- Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
- Full Unrestricted Driver License.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinker.
- Ability to match your field team to best represent your market.
- Professional demeanor and excellent oral communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable to changing environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel, in addition to internet usage.
- Ability to learn and use new technology that is associated with the job.
- Self-Motivated with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to travel 15%+ of the year within the assigned region and ability to work on weekends and evenings.
- Ability to work from Coca Cola Amatil office as and when required.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
