Our busy Best Pick Store based in Upper Hutt, Wellington has a job opening for an Assistant Manager. As an Assistant manager, you'll be assisting the store Manager in day-to-day operations of the business while ensuring customers receive outstanding service and quality.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Ensuring that every customer receives excellent service.
- Ensuring the store is presented at its very best at all times.
- Managing and motivating the team members to align with company values and expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager in stock management.
- Handling customer concerns when necessary and ensuring the customer is satisfied with the resolved issue and service you have provided.
- Ability to manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff.
- An ability to work independently in the absence of a Manager.

What are we looking for?
- Computer skills - An understanding of basic computer like Microsoft software.
- A reasonable level of fitness as this role involves lifting cartons.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Upper Hutt, Wellington: Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work(required).

**Salary**: From $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
