Silver Fern Farms Finegand are on the lookout for experienced beef or venison butchers to join our team.

Our Finegand site is our largest processing facility employing around 1200 people at the peak of the season. A cornerstone employer in the South Otago region, the team at Finegand has been a significant contributor to the Balclutha economy for over 100 years and the site continues to evolve to meet the increasing demands consumers worldwide expect.

You will be joining a company who look to continuously improve our operations, upskill our staff and create an environment of mutual learning.

**What will we provide**:

**What’s on offer**:

- We pay a minimum of $27.76 and maximum of $41.64
- Minimum 30 hours per week
- 40 hours per week usually plus overtime opportunities in peak of season

Earn a minimum per week of $1110 gross

**Job requirements**:

- Previous experience producing a variety meat product
- Industrial manufacturing meat processing experience
- A team player who can work closely with others
- Can follow health and safety, quality, and technical compliance requirements in the workplace
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand

Pre-employment drug testing and a medical assessment will follow the interview stage.
