We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Principal Policy Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of our district.

**About the Roles**:
You will contribute to a wide variety of corporate planning processes, including the development and review of our Long Term and Annual Plans, bylaws and corporate policies. You'll also support our spatial and strategic planning initiatives.

Your primary responsibilities will include shaping our Long Term and Annual Plans, bylaws, policies, and strategies, ensuring that our organisational performance is monitored and reported on and that we maintain a robust and comprehensive policy framework. You will provide valuable policy advice to activity managers and to our Council, offering insights into legislation, bylaws, and external agency policies to enable them to make good decisions on behalf of the organisation and our communities.

**About You**

We're seeking someone who not only has relevant qualifications but is also passionate about planning and public policy. You will have a solid understanding of the Local Government Act and other legislation, a proven track record in project planning and delivery, familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative approaches and be well-prepared to take on the challenges that lie ahead.
