Library Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Library team at Scots College. This is a permanent, part-time appointment (30 hours per week) and will commence in March or April. The work will predominantly be during term time but there will be four extra weeks to be divided between the start and end of the school year and during term breaks.

Applicants should have relevant Library experience and be able to demonstrate:

- A passion for learning and reading
- Kindness, unflappability, and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An affinity with students from Year 1 to Year 13
- The willingness and ability to work in a busy vibrant environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Relevant library experience (preferably at least 2-3 years)
- High standards of efficiency and accuracy
- A high level of computer literacy, including experience with Library software
